24 podcast is an important part of the program structure of the JOJ 24 news television and the noviny.sk portal. Our podcasts are not traditional audio formats, but video-podcasts with the added visual value. TV JOJ and JOJ 24 news editors create them in studios with a camera. They reach not only regular podcast listeners via audio platforms, but also TV viewers and online users. They focus on current political, economic, cultural and social topics that move our society.
JOJ podcasts are continuously expanding their thematic areas. Among the most successful ones are for example Sme v kaviarni – political satire in the form of comments by Arpád Soltész and Peter Tkačenko, JOJ Zdravie with journalist Marcela Fuknová, JOJ History with documentary filmmaker Veronika Homolová Tóthová, Na hrane TV JOJ, as well as OK podcast with musician Ondrej Kandráč, or LeKár a IMunita with moderator Iveta Malachovská and gastroenterologist Ladislav Kužel. The Na nervy podcast is created in cooperation with IPečko, and we also have a sports podcast Prvá liga.

In April 2023, WAU Television celebrated its 10th anniversary as a universal TV station, which has successfully established itself in recent years with a wide range of crime series.
Its program includes some of the most popular titles in the genre such as Castle, Criminal Minds,crime drama CSI: Las Vegas, Miami and New York, as well as cult evergreens like Columbo, Murder, She Wrote, Diagnosis: Murder and Walker, Texas Ranger.
Apart from crime series, viewers will also find other popular acquisition series such as Dr. House and Ghost Whisperer on WAU´s program.
In 2024, fans of crime series like CSI: Vegas, The Rookie and Midsomer Murders will see their series premiere on TV screens.

The JOJ 24 news television was added to the JOJ Group portfolio in 2022 as our eighth Slovak and fourteenth station in total. The full-format television is available to the entire Slovak population and wants to be viewers´ first choice in providing comprehensive, reliable and always verified first-hand information, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
News all day long, interviews with experts and the largest amount of live broadcast – all this currently defines JOJ 24. Its program includes not only news and journalistic broadcasts, but also non-news formats, lifestyle magazines, documentaries, service programs and video podcasts. JOJ TV´s evening news slot in prime time is simultaneously broadcasted live on JOJ 24.
The station´s editor in chief is a long-time editor and TV moderator Dárius Haraksin. JOJ 24 is represented by experienced and educated professionals who have long worked in TV news, such as Hana Zavřelová Gallová, Adam Zavřel, Peter Petrus, Mária Ȍlvedyová, Júlia Zelenková, Bruno Ciberej, Martina Štefánková, Lenka Ježová, Ján Mečiar, Ivan Janda and others. The JOJ 24 team also comprises young and energetic editors, for instance Klaudia Malovcová, Lucia Nagyová or the experienced international reporter Jakub Mitter.

JOJ Sport television has been supporting Slovak sport for two years since its launch in October 2021.
Since the 2023/2024 season, it exclusively broadcasts the complete package of Slovak hockey. Tipos SHL and JOJ Sport Slovak Cup will be joined by Tipos Extraliga!
You can join us every week and be a part of the most important events happening in Slovak hockey. Apart from the club matches, we will bring you all the matches of the Slovak national hockey team, including the top event of 2024 IIHF World Championship hosted by Czech Republic.
Moreover, we will feature the U20 junior national team, which will take part in the championship in Sweden with medal potential at the turn of the year. Throughout the year, you can get acquainted with talented hockey players and U18 national team members who play in the SHL year-round and who, in front of the eyes of our JOJ Sport audience, will play the World Championship of this age category in April. Hockey is at home on JOJ Sport!
Traditional hockey tournaments such as the German Cup, the prestigious U18 tournament Hlinka/Gretzky Cup, Danube Cup and other will also be a regular part of the JOJ Sport portfolio.
With the arrival of winter, snow is something that JOJ Sport screens can´t miss. We will broadcast all male and female events from the new FIS Alpine Ski World Cup season (except for those taking place in Austria). Join us for the performances of the great Petra Vlhová, the Žampa brothers, Rebeka Jančová and snowboarder Samuel Jaroš. Besides the Alpine and Nordic categories, we will again include Snowboard, Freestyle and Jumping to the broadcast.
From the rich football offer, the UEFA Europa League and the European Conference League will be added to the JOJ Sport portfolio from the 2024/2025 season. The newest and fourteenth JOJ Group station is a documentary television station that offers uninterrupted broadcasting and brings the best and the latest documentaries from around the world in Slovak language. It is a rich selection of original Slovak and partner international documentaries from renowned local and foreign filmmakers.
We cover all documentary genres with the new JOJ WORLD TV. The program is tailored to a wide range of viewers and the most diverse target groups interested in travelogue, natural history, architecture, science, space, history, as well as a view on current trends and the future.
In the upcoming seasons, some of the station´s program highlights will be represented by acquisition titles like Empire Games, Hollywood Weapons, Killer Inside, but also Návštevníci (Visitors), the winning film of the largest Slovak documentary film festival Jeden svet (One World) 2022. JOJ World also supports emerging documentary filmmakers and students, and will showcase the best of the documentary production from Banská Bystrica Academy of Arts´ directors.
The specific feature of the new JOJ World television is the author production. In 2024, we will launch several local and co-produced documentaries and series of different genres – for instance, our upcoming project Hitler’s Secret Missions or the series Alien’s Files: Reopened.
The JOJ World program will not miss documentaries by Pavol Barabáš, a great Slovak documentary filmmaker. In addition, JOJ TV has long been involved in the creation of documentary series by our recognized editor Veronika Homolová Tóthová. From among her works we will present the historical documentaries Hľadanie spomienok (Searching for Memories), Atentát na Heydricha (The Assassination of Heydrich) and the series Neumlčaní (The Unsilenced).
All documentary titles from the JOJ World broadcast will be available in the Premium section on our JOJ play streaming platform. The station’s live broadcasts will also be available on the streaming platform.
Documentary oriented thematic station (so called factual entertainment) will be available to Slovak households – subscribers of particular satellite, cable, IPTV and OTT operators.

The latest and the best blockbusters and exclusive film premieres of all genres. You can find it all on the menu of JOJ Cinema, which has been broadcasting its program without commercials 24 hours a day for more than eight years. Watching this Czech-Slovak station, there is something for everyone: romance and drama for women, action films, thrillers, horror or sci-fi for men, animated fairytales for children, and adventure or biographical documentaries for families.
The premiere highlights of its 2024 program menu represent quality titles with a stellar cast, such as The Duke starring Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren, as well as Mafia Mamma starring Toni Collette in the title role. Audiences will also be treated to the premiere of Notre Dame on Fire, a drama based on true events, and The Princess, a biopic documentary about Princess Diana.
Traditionally, JOJ Cinema will also please fans of action films and thrillers, who will not want to miss Gunpowder Milkshake with Karen Gillan and Lena Headey, Land of Bad with Russell Crowe, the action comedy Manta, Manta 2 with Til Schweiger and the thriller The Ritual Killer with Morgan Freeman.

The station has a privileged position and broadcasts Czech and Slovak films uninterrupted by advertising. It offers up to seven feature films a day.
CS Film´s broadcasting before 10:15 a.m. is intended for children – it brings pedagogical, educational and musical programs from JOJ production and the most popular Czech animated series.
Film television broadcasts cult and archive films, 90% of which were shot before 1989. We have expanded our acquisitions with films from the Czech television’s golden fund from the 1960s-80s, and we have also managed to acquire films that Czech television, for different reasons, did not broadcast after 1989.
Besides that, CS Film offers newer Czech films made after 1989 – e.g. Dědictví aneb Kurvahohošigutentág, Báječná léta pod psa, Šakalí léta, Bobule, U mě dobrý.
In 2024, this trend will continue and we will broadcast audience favourites such as Fontána pre Zuzanu II, Masaryk, Román pro muže, Účastníci zájezdu, etc.

Our “mystery station” is also systematically building its position as a strong player in the field of documentaries and thematically focus on mysteries, secrets, paranormal or crime.
Mystery broadcasts a 24-hour full-length documentary program, composed of acquisitions, as well as of its own attractive productions – it offers, for instance, the successful series Krvavé Česko (Bloody Czechia), Československá NEJ (Czechoslovak BEST), Největší české mýty (The Greatest Czech Myths) or Neznámé památky (Unknown Sights).
In its programm structure, viewers will find quality documentary titles from established and globally known distribution companies, such as Cineflix, Parade Media or Abacus Media.

All-day broadcasting of historical programs – that’s CS History. The TV station used to be focused solely on military topics, but now it is gradually transforming into a station with more general historical content.
For CS History, we are buying a number of new acquisitions from better companies with quality content, as well as producing new, higher quality in-house productions, such as the premiere series Otazníky českých dějin (Question Marks of Czech History) or Otomar Dvořák’s original series Vodní svět (Water World) by Jakub Krčín.
For 2024 we have planned titles from DCD Rights Limited, including Fatal Shot, Secret Nazi Bases: Series 1, Secret Societies: In the Shadows, as well as Warner Bros programs, such as First Civilisations or Underworld Histories I, II, III.

The horror station airs an ad-free program every day from midnight to 6am.
Its program includes three movies a night, supplemented with themed series that focus on mysteries, paranormal, ufo, and the like.
We are continuously increasing the number of films in its line-up, which helps to reduce their rebroadcasting. In addition, we are systematically focusing on improving the quality of the broadcast content.

JOJ Family is a full format family television for Czech viewers and for Slovaks living in the Czech Republic. It has been broadcasting for seven years as a free-to-air DVB-T station, which is included in the 4th Czech multiplex and is also available in the offer of Czech satellite, cable and IPTV operators.
In its varied and rich program, JOJ Family offers legendary Czech films and series, foreign acquisitions and European production of diverse genres, but above all the best of the original program production of the parent JOJ television.
In 2024, the Czech JOJ Family will broadcast the latest series from the Slovak JOJ TV production, including Ranch, Criminal Crime II and Love in Istanbul. Popular shows New Home, At the cottage and Shopoholics will see its premiere episodes.

In 2024, there will be no shortage of premiere episodes of the family series ZOO and the crime series Zákony vlka. Every evening, the contestants introduce their home-made recipes (and often their personalities too) in the show Prostřeno! Jan Kraus and Honza Dědek will entertain the audience in their successful talk shows with well-known guests. In the following seasons, the masters of improvisation will continue to entertain the audience in Prima Partička. Famous Czech handymen will reveal their best hints and tips in the legendary Receptáři Prima nápadů, Vychytávky Ládi Hrušky or Libovky Pepy Libického. And the legendary Zdenek Pohlreich will guide viewers around restaurants through TV screens in the program Áno, šéfe!, which has changed the view on gastronomy not only in the Czech Republic.
