Iveta has gone down in the history of Slovak series as an outstanding series which broke long-time records in the viewership of Slovak series during its exceptionally successful first season.

 

The season by screenwriter Petr Kolečko, director Jan Hřebejk, head cinematographer Martin Žiaran and other successful creators has become the most watched series of original JOJ TV production in its 20-year history and was an absolute favorite of Slovak audience. 

 

Therefore, Iveta, portrayed by talented Alžbeta Ferencová, will soon see its continuation in the second season.

 

Viewership

The series launched in early January 2023 and immediately took over the screens, touching almost a million viewers! The first season reached an unsurpassed 17.3% viewership and 34.4% market share when it was watched by 799 thousand viewers in the target group 12+. Viewers glued to the screens did not miss the second episode, watched by 755 thousand universal viewers, with 16.4% viewership and 35.8% market share. 

 

In the commercially important target group of 12-54-year-olds, Iveta achieved even higher share of output – the first episode had up to 36.5% market share and 14,0% viewership, while the second episode reached the same above-average market share and 13% viewership. 

 

The last episode of Iveta was the most watched non-televised program in the market when viewers said goodbye to their currently favorite series on Sunday night, 19 February 2023.  Its finale reached a whopping 769 thousand viewers aged 12+ and achieved a superb 12.0% viewership and an above-average 26.5% share in CS 12+. In the commercial target audience, it topped the overall ranking of the most watched programs of the week with 10.0% viewership and 29.1% market share.
