24 podcast is an important part of the program structure of the JOJ 24 news television and the noviny.sk portal. Our podcasts are not traditional audio formats, but video-podcasts with the added visual value. TV JOJ and JOJ 24 news editors create them in studios with a camera. They reach not only regular podcast listeners via audio platforms, but also TV viewers and online users. They focus on current political, economic, cultural and social topics that move our society.

JOJ podcasts are continuously expanding their thematic areas. Among the most successful ones are for example Sme v kaviarni – political satire in the form of comments by Arpád Soltész and Peter Tkačenko, JOJ Zdravie with journalist Marcela Fuknová, JOJ History with documentary filmmaker Veronika Homolová Tóthová, Na hrane TV JOJ, as well as OK podcast with musician Ondrej Kandráč, or LeKár a IMunita with moderator Iveta Malachovská and gastroenterologist Ladislav Kužel. WAU television is a universal station that broadcasts foreign crime and detective series, as well as dramatic stories from the medical and rescue environments.

 

In 2026, viewers can look forward to new series of popular crime dramas such as Midsomer Murders, The Good Ship Murder, FBI: Most Wanted, and Wild Cards.

JOJko – the only Slovak children's television channel broadcasting exclusively in Slovak – continues to maintain a strong position among the youngest viewers in 2026. Every second child under the age of 9 watches it, and for almost a third it is their favourite channel. Our goal is to provide children with quality entertainment and education, bring families together, and create a safe space for learning and imagination.

  • Mojko and Kajka – cute teddy bear Mojko with a heart on his face and his friend Kajka teach children about the world, colours, sports, and musical instruments. A little friend named Toto joins in, who can change colours and ensures fun adventures.
  • Spievankovo 2 – continuation of a unique series on good manners. Spievanka, the fairy Nezábudka, and children's heroes show why kind words, trust, and friendship are so important. The series brings new songs and entertaining situations.
  • What do you want to be? – Miro Jaroš, Samko, and Sofia explore various professions and debunk myths about them. Viewers will learn that doctors are not the only ones who care about health, how electricity from waste works, and why even teachers have to learn.
  • Športovisko – Nela and her brother Adam show that sport is for everyone. The series introduces children to various sports and inspires them to exercise and enjoy healthy fun.

  • Yakari – a French-Belgian animated series about a young Sioux boy who understands animals and, thanks to the advice of the Great Eagle, experiences many adventures.
  • The Fox and Badger Family – a story about the unusual coexistence of a fox and a badger, which teaches children the value of tolerance, cooperation, and family.
  • Dora, the world's most famous explorer, sets off on new adventures with Boots the monkey in the rainforest and beyond. The series combines puzzles, learning, and action.
  • Not Quite Narwhal – Kelp discovers that he is both a narwhal and a unicorn, and learns to live between two worlds. The animated series brings children stories about acceptance, diversity, and imagination.
  • Alva's World – Alva, a bold little girl, visits the magical land of Gizmo, where she and her friends, the Oolies, solve problems and discover the magic of fantasy and the safety of the online world.
  • Trollhunters – an adventure series by Guillermo del Toro about a boy who finds a magical amulet and becomes a guardian between humans and trolls.

The racing film Race of Glory will also be full of suspense, with plenty of rivalry and adrenaline in this drama set in the world of rallying. The John Wick series continues with the spin-off Ballerina starring Ana de Armas, which will offer a dark and dynamic action story.

 

JOJ Cinema will also present the touching family drama Goodrich starring Michael Keaton, a story about fatherhood and second chances. The documentary-style thriller Last Breath, which follows a dramatic struggle for survival in the depths of the sea, will deliver a powerful dose of suspense. The classics will not be forgotten either – the legendary animated story Bambi is also returning to the big screen, this time in a spectacular adaptation entitled "Bambi: A Tale of Life in the Woods."

 

A global diva will also be presenting her documentary debut – the film I Am: Céline Dion offers an intimate look into the life of the singing icon and her battle with a rare disease.

We are also opening JOJ play for partners of the Valetin network, who have the opportunity to share their content to a wider audience base through our platform.

A sense of belonging is always important, and every year TV JOJ translates it into selfless cooperation with the state, social, cultural or charitable organizations.

This year, since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, everyone has been trying to help in any way they can. For example, the TV JOJ Foundation has teamed up with MAGNA, an organization that distributes medications and medical supplies to hospitals in war-affected areas – it supported a public fundraiser via media and has also contributed €10,000. Another form of help was the Concert for Ukraine, where artists joined TV JOJ and its foundation to help publicize the Magna fundraising to the general public. The TV JOJ Foundation together with the J&T Foundation also organized material humanitarian aid, in which TV JOJ employees and other people from all over Slovakia collected necessary food, clothing as well as other consumer goods, and the foundations arranged for them to be transported by trucks and wagons to orphans and mothers who had to flee from war zones. The two foundations, in cooperation with Turancar, also arranged for the transport of aid and also provided free transport for Ukrainians within Slovakia, even to Prague.

The TV JOJ Foundation also continues to support the projects of the National institute of Children’s Diseases in Bratislava, keeps on supporting children’s sports activities, succeeded in expanding Slovak floorball league to other elementary schools and confirmed JOJ Group’s close cooperation with Junior Chamber International Slovakia.

TV JOJ, in cooperation with the TV JOJ Foundation, has also announced fundraiser to help child patients in psychiatric clinics in Slovakia, and annually helps underprivileged families and provides them with concrete material assistance thanks to sponsors via the Donated Christmas project.
