A love that does not care about protocol.

This romance series with a comedic touch is set in exotic Tunisia, where personal life unexpectedly collides with the world of diplomacy. Ambassador Martin Skala, played by Marián Mitaš, tries to focus on his work and family after a breakup. However, the energetic and independent Lucia Pokorná, played by Natália Germáni, enters his life and spoils all his plans.

Life at the newly opened embassy is shaped by the consulate’s colorful characters, their relationships, rivalry, and everyday situations, which bring humor and lightness.

Every episode features a standalone feel-good story against a Tunisian backdrop, while the whole ten-part series is tied together by Martin and Lucia’s romance. The Scent of The Sea revolves around new beginnings, unexpected encounters, and a kind of love that comes exactly when a person least expects it.
