The successful entertainment programme, which combines a passion for cooking with an insight into the private lives of amateur chefs, will continue in 2025. Over the course of one week, five contestants take turns in hosting and cooking the best they can in their own kitchens – some betting on traditional recipes, others on the exotic ones. In addition to the culinary art, the host must also prepare an entertaining accompanying programme for his guests. At the end of the week, the most skilful chef will win a cash prize.

The show, which is not only about cooking, has already established itself among the most popular programmes since its debut in the spring of 2021. Its popularity has continued to grow, with the show regularly topping the rating charts. In the next season, viewers can once again look forward to great recipes, unusual moments and exciting competition between amateur chefs from different parts of Slovakia.

The programme, which exercises viewers’ brains every weekday, has become a fixture on the early evening broadcast. Contestants test their knowledge as well as their courage to take risks, with the prospect of interesting financial prizes. The programme, the motto of which is “Risk it for the biscuit”, is led by the likable actor and presenter Dušan Ambróš.

Risk It! has already hosted many clever participants that have taken thousands of euros and proved that there are really intelligent people in Slovakia. In addition to the traditional episodes, special episodes are regularly broadcasted, in which well-known celebrities or athletes compete together.

At the same time, the show is not idle outside the TV studio. The creators, together with the presenter, are involved in different school or camp projects for children and youth. Their mission is not only to entertain and educate, but also to help.

In the fall of 2024, JOJ TV came up with a special edition of this iconic show called Shopoholics in Second-Hand Shop, in which contestants pieced together their outfits from second-hand pieces. They were judged by experts in sustainability and slow fashion – Barbara Jagušák, Natália Pažická, Zuzana Dutková and Valéria Frázová – who successfully operate on social networks, where they spread information about recycling and upcycling clothes. The new edition of the show was a great success, especially with young viewers and online, as it reflected the fact that sustainability as a topic is becoming more and more popular and people are becoming aware of the need to live more environmentally friendly.

The second-hand edition of Shopoholics had a total of 20 parts, after which the iconic show returned with cameras to shopping malls, together with its permanent judges Emma Fajnor and Marian Hornyák. Viewers can once again look forward to fashion stylists, makeup artists and hairdressers who will give them and the contestants valuable advice on how to be stylish while maintaining their personality.

The popular family show, broadcasted during the Advent season, brings touching life stories full of emotions. Popular presenter Vilo Rozboril and his team travel across the country to capture the tears of ordinary people who have been affected by misfortune in various forms and situations. Now, with its renewed format, refreshed cast and with Jasmina Alagič Vrbovská as the host, it´s coming to Slovak screens again, Jasmina, who has been a seasoned and extremely spontaneous co-host of the biggest talent show in our country, will now show her sharp wit and improvisation in the renewed competition, where two couples compete for the prize money. Each pair consists of one contestant and one well-known celebrity from show business world. The principle of the game remains the same – one player from the pair is given a password and the other should guess it solely on the basis of his one-word clue.
